The AutoCleaverLDF is a high precision fiber cleaver designed for cleaving circular Large Diameter Fibers up to 1200µm. The unique and patent-pending cleaving process generates typical cleave angles of less than 0.5°. Cleaving performance is enhanced by the use of fiber handling kits optimized for a specific fiber dimension. With an automatic waste disposal system that removes hazardous fiber scraps, the cleaver is designed to generate minimum amounts of fiber waste, typically less than 20mm.

The built-in microprocessor controls all vital parameters and settings, such as fiber alignment, clamping, fiber tension and the exact position and speed of the diamond blade, guaranteeing high repeatability and accuracy. The cleaver can be connected to an external PC that gives access to all programmable parameters and settings.
