AFL Telecommunications offers Foxcom's Series 82 EDFA - an integrated Fiber Optic Amplifier module and power supply in a rack mount housing. With a choice of output power levels and internal optical splits, the 82 series is designed for CATV and DBS RF Video overlay applications in typical FTTx deployments including PON and Point to Point architectures, or for cost effective deployments in large MDU environments. With DSP controlled optical monitoring, the Series 82 provides highly stable, low noise amplification. Monitor and Control can be direct via RS232, or, via SNMP protocol when mated with Foxcom’s 810 Series Fiber Optic Transmitter
