GPON Solution
The Optimate 500NT product line of GPON Optical Network Termination (ONT) units provides different service configuration sets that enable the services providers to deliver the services mix their customers demand.
The Optimate 500NT portfolio supports various services including Ethernet (10/100 BaseT), TDM (POTS, E1/T1), and video over a Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON). The 500 NT supports 2.488/1.244 Gbps PON rates and allows the service provider to offer to its customers unprecedented service qualities manifested in high bandwidth, integrated services and easy provisioning.
The Optimate 500NT product line supports broadband triple play services to small business, small/home office (SOHO) and residential customers (SFU).
The Optimate 500NT supports the new ITU-T G.984 GPON standard. GPON offers the service providers High Bandwidth capacity, Superb bandwidth utilization, Fiber Protection, Native TDM supports, and long network reach.
