The AFL OPGW Comealong is a temporary grip used during installation, “dead ending,” and “clipping in” of OPGW. The Comealong is also called a “Pocketbook” or “Butterfly Grip.” The Comealong’s self-contained compact size is easy to install and remove, and it is reusable. The AFL Comealong is designed specifically for our OPGW cables and is 100% factory tested to ensure proper cable-specific performance.
