AFL Telecommunications’ Traditional Downhole Cable is designed to perform in the well and withstand elevated temperatures, high pressure and corrosive environments. The cable is customized to the customer’s specifications in order to maximize performance at the best possible price. AFL’s Traditional Downhole cable was designed for land based and offshore wells where the temperature can be up to 150C. This design uses AFL’s patented stainless steel tube technology and incorporates hydrogen scavenging material to counter the effects of hydrogen in the well. Further versatility with this cable is achieve through customization of different alloys and outer encapsulations.
