Expand Your Network at Minimal Cost with AFL Telecommunications' Node Service Solutions

Spartanburg, South Carolina - June 17, 2008
AFL Telecommunications will be showcasing node splitting solutions at the SCTE Cable-tec Expo in Philadelphia, June 25 – 27. Products on display in booth #2212 include Fiber Receiver Services Cables, commonly referred to as Node Cables, and Course Wavelength Division Multiplexing (CWDM) modules.

With field proven, durable connecting hardware, AFL’s node cables are factory tested to meet stringent installation performance standards. The assembly comes with a node fitting pre-installed on the cable featuring an anti-twist design that enables easy mounting and quick termination inside the node, without twisting the cable. The other end is ready for splicing inside the closure.

CWDM modules, available for both inside plant and outside plant environments, are offered in LGX packaging for use in fiber management panels and also in pre-packaged splice or connectorized tray solutions for use in AFL splice closures. Use of CWDM’s in the network allows the service provider the ability to quickly expand their fiber capacity without actually installing new fiber cables, thus eliminating the need for expensive new construction. This added fiber capacity can be used to provide fiber feeds to new business customers and expand residential customer bandwidth.

Visit AFL Telecommunications at SCTE Cable-tec Expo, Booth #2212, to see these new solutions that will enhance your system builds at minimal cost.  For additional information, visit www.AFLtele.com.
