Grant Making Guidelines
Fujikura Foundation connects our communities through financial and social commitments, in an effort to improve the quality of life in areas where America Fujikura operates.
Areas of Opportunities
Grants are available within four Areas of Opportunities. All grant requests must fall within one of the four: Stable and Nurturing Families; Educational Excellence; Environmental Astuteness; and Community/Business Partnerships.
Community-Focused
Fujikura Foundation grants are available in areas where America Fujikura has a significant presence (10 or more employees in one location). National and international organizations will be considered for grant requests and should send a letter of intent to the Spartanburg, South Carolina office, to the attention of Corie Culp, Community Relations Manager.
Proposals/Letters of Intent
All proposals or letters of intent must be directed to the facilitator of the Internal Local Lead Team (ILT), who recommends all grant requests to the AFL Corporate Lead Team (ALT). Letters received from outside locations will be re-directed to the appropriate location facilitator.
Small Community Giving
Requests for grants less than $2,500 will be considered a small community grant, and possibly a sponsorship. These requests must be made directly to the ILT facilitator for review by the ALT Lead Team.
